Anchor Park

Anchor Park, located at 402 East Lake Street, was established in 2018.  The City acquired the property in 1948 and it was used as the location for the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce.  In 2018, the Chamber relocated its office and the .565 acre property was converted to a park. The property, located along a non-motorized pathway that extends from Alabaster Township to Baldwin Township.  The building is a 799 square foot building with a large deck that overlooks Lake Huron where visitors can view the sunrise and relax. The property has been leased to Charlie Horse Electric Bikes since 2021.  A restroom is available for public use during open business hours.
